An allergist is a doctor who is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases and other diseases including:

The allergist is trained to find the source of your suffering and treat it so that you can feel healthy all the time.

After earning a medical degree, the allergist completes a three-year residency-training program in either internal medicine or pediatrics. Next the allergist completes two or three more years of study in allergy and immunology.
